Even shortly after a new installation of an operating system there might be the first false entries within a registry. In the best case, the user is not aware of those errors because they don't show up. Other than that they might cause dysfunctions etc.

After the installation you start the application via double-clicking on the desktop icon (blue circle with white wrench in it) or you simply click on the icon shown in the system tray.

The application starts with a blue underlaid start window.

After the program is started, a registry scan is automatically performed by the application. This initial scan searches for errors, which affect all users and all applications on the PC.

When this initial scan is finished, all areas, where errors were found, get listed up. This information also includes the degree of significance on how heavy the located errors are.

One click on the „Detailed view“ shows further information on each located error.

A click on „Back to summary“ brings you back to the previous screen.

A click on „View results log“ leads to a website with a protocol/summary of the detected events.

This website can be easily saved as a data file on the PC; it also can be easily sent as an eMail. Printing it is also no problem.

After judging and maybe printing the report, a click on „Fix errors“ continues the program's progress in solving the problems.

The Registry Booster 2010 now begins to fix the located errors. Before it automatically creates a backup-data for the case, that the clean up of the registry results in any problems. In this case the backup allows to return to the previous state of the registry without any problems.

In the end of the process it is listed up, how many errors could be eliminated. There are single exceptions possible, where an error or two couldn't be eliminated. But this should be relatively rare.

To finish the whole process it is required to restart the computer, so that the clean up becomes operative. All it takes therefore is a single click on the button „restart now“.

If you don't want to restart the computer at this point, quiting the program and restart the computer later will get the job also done.

In this case the changed registry settings will be operative later, when the computer gets restarted.

After the system got restarted Registry Booster 2010 will show an overview over the events of the last scan. If another scan is desired, a click on the according button will initiate this scan.

If you instead navigate to the register „Overview“ (instead of having an other scan), there is the current performance ability of the registry shown in the left area of the window.

Besides that, there is an overview over all installed Uniblue program bundles on the computer and a possibility to look for according updates for the Registry Booster 2010. The button „Start scan“ allows to initiate a registry scan also.

If you go back then to the register „Registry Scan“ and click on the option „Ignore list“, a smaller window appears, where areas and single elements of the registry can be excluded from the next scan.

The next option thereafter is „Registry repair logs“. It shows all changes that have been made in the registry, when using the program in the past. To see all those changes, simply click on the button „View“.

If identical problems tend to occur within the registry, then the causing reasons might be found here. If several reports should be too outdated or otherwise useless, they can be deleted by using the button „delete selection“.
