Uniblue Registry Booster 2010 - Defrag Function
The final option „Registry defrag“ holds the possibility to defragmentate the whole registry by clicking on the according button. This completely rearranges the registry and causes the computer often to boot up much faster than before.
A defragmentation is especially recommended if the same errors tend to occur within the registry over and over again. After the defragmentation a restart makes the changes operative.
Should the last changes, that have been made within the registry, resulted more in problems than in improvements, then the register „Recovery“ offers to choose one of the backups, which Registry Booster 2010 creates automatically with every scan, and to recover the state of the registry according to the chosen backup. Therefore simply click on the button „recover“ when a backup is chosen.
If some backups seem too old, it is possible to delete them by clicking on the button „delete selection“.
The register „Settings“ allows to set the control and the language of the program.
The option „other settings“ allows to determine if the program should be started automatically (when booting up) and if automatic scans should be performed. Therefore, it is just required to add or remove the check marks.
A click on the „Save“-button saves the modified settings of the Registry Booster 2010 and overtakes them immediately.
The option „System information“ delivers you significant technical data of the computer (memory, name of the model etc.), on which you have installed Registry Booster 2010.
A regular scan and cleaning up the registry with Uniblue Registry Booster 2010 shouldn't be a problem - even for the unexperienced user. This is the reason, why many computer magazines label this program as „highly recommendable“ - and so do we!
