Page Insert

If you click to a page in PDF-XChange Viewer on the instruction "inserts“ a menu window of the same name appears, where you can add another PDF document to existing document already open. First you select the source file, second insert the pages from it and finally select the target area in document, at which the new page is inserted.

Insert Blank Pages

Paste with the command "Insert Blank Pages" can be an existing PDF file. These can be adjusted in the menu window completely as desired in the ranges size, number and format differently.

Extract Pages

Single or multiple pages from an existing PDF file can be extracted with the instruction "extract pages “ to one or more new files and then be arranged. In the corresponding menu window, one can select appropriate settings in addition to the desired destination folder on the PC for the newly created file.

Delete Pages

If you would like to delete, several or even all pages from a PDF file, then you can delete this with the help of the instruction "delete pages". In the context menu window you can easily make the appropriate setting according to your own specifications.

Rotate Pages

If you want to rotate one or more pages within a PDF document by 90 degrees to the left or right, or as much as 180 degrees, you can do this with the appropriate command in the document. Additionally, you can choose whether to rotate the entire file, either vertical-format pages or landscape format.

Crop Pages

Using the crop box operation in the "crop pages", the document can be displayed in the preview pane. The corresponding boundary restrictions can drag and dorp to the proper settings menu.

Flatten Annotation

Embedding annotation using the command "comments" can be saved in a PDF file or printed out with the comments. This can be helpful in filling in forms and placing helpful comments in a document.

Summarized Comments

If a PDF document has comments from various users, these can be in saved in a separate PDF. The output type and form of the summary as well as various options can be set in the menu window as needed.

Export Comments to Data File

To transfer comments from a PDF file into another, it can be exported problem-free with the help of the instruction "Export Comments in Data File". The comments from the output file are exported in the XFDF format and saved as new file on the PC.

This can be imported then either into another PDF file or be added if necessary again to the former output file. The file detached of comments also can be a separate file, sent to another user by E-Mail.

The comment file needs substantially less storage space and is downloaded quickly by very slow systems and can be an advantage.

Show Comments List

The "Comments List" will appear after electing the corresponding command in the left pane.

Once created in a file, these are listed in the panel along with page numbers. If necessary, you can now call up the comments easily and quickly, even with larger files and on one click, edit or remove them.

Stamps

In order to label a document with a specific, instantly recognizable word using the stamp function.

Calling the command line to create stamps on the bottom of the menu box, a personalized stamp can be created using your own image or text files.

If you want to now add in a certain place a stamp will be in the PDF document, choose it first from the drop down box the document itself is now the cursor to the stamp image. In the area you want to now click once with the left mouse button and the stamp is immediately inserted there.

Tools / Comment And Markup Tools

By selecting the "Comment And Markkup Tools " command in PDF-XChange Viewer, put the cursor on the comment bubble and you can add to the desired position by just clicking with the left mouse button.

Typewriter Tool

PDF-XChange Viewer screen with the command "typewriter" allows you to type directly on any PDF page, not just Adobe enabled documents - in Typewriter mode.

Text Box Tool

Use the text box command to insert drawings, diagrams, photos or colorful backgrounds.

Collout Tools

Wth the help of Callout Tools, these can be used in PDF-XChange Viewer on certain areas of text or graphics to point better than with arrows or comments. If you want to draw attention to a particular word or a special section of a graph, you can use balloons to show precise identification.

Highlight Text Tool

PDF-XChange Viewer screen can select specific sections of a PDF document and make them a yellow highligher and provide a clear marker. By using the left mouse button over the text you want, just let go again at the point at which the marker is to be terminated. During the marking process, selected passages are highlighted in blue. As you release the left mouse button, the blue changes to yellow.

Cross Out Text Tool

When strikethrough command "text" the instructions are much the same as when you select a text passage. First, the menu is invoked by the command. Sections in which individual words or sentences should be crossed out, will then be selected by holding down the left mouse button while in blue. Once you let go of the mouse button, the predefined text with a red bar is the visible strikeout.

Underline Text Tool

As with the Highlight and Strikethrough Text, when you go in the PDF-XChange Viewer it also emphasizes "underline text". Again, the command is initially selected in the menu, and then to underline text with the left mouse button in blue. The text is highlighted in green.

Arrow, Lines and Other Forms

Red arrows, lines, rectangles, clouds and other symbols can be inserted in the PDF-XChange Viewer via the appropriate commands at any point in a PDF document. If you make the appropriate shape with the left mouse button, double click and it will open a comment field that can be filled with text. The Pencil and Eraser form a separate unit in various forms. Drawings that have been created with the Pencil in the document, can use the Eraser at any point to delete. The other forms are unaffected by the Eraser.

Show Stamps Pallet

The stamp pallet is used for extending and changing the stamp tool. Existing stamps can reduced and enlarged, new ones added, edited or removed. To add new stamp various editing and source menu options are available.

Comment and Award Toolbar

The command "comment and award toolbar" is the whole range of PDF processing options of the menu in a toolbar that can be stored in the header bar of the program and is always available.

Show Comment And Markup Toolbar

The panel in this PDF-XChange Viewer can be used in the same manner as in the "comments". This give an overview of the entire document with page numbers, comments and number of comments per page. The user can relatively quickly access the desired page with the appropriate comments on it and change it if necessary or delete.
