Menu "Comments"
Flatten Comments
Using the command „include commentaries“ it is possible to include marginal notes into a PDF-file at any desired position. Those notes/commentaries can be saved or printed if this is intended by the user.
Therefore, it is simply required to choose the corresponding options in the preferences of the according menu window.
If there are any predefined form check boxes in the document, they can be improved using the command „include commentaries.“ For example, by including hints how to fill out the document.
Summerize Comments
If a PDF-document is commented by several users, it is possible to bundle and save those commentaries (with or without the according text passages) as a PDF-file of it's own using the command „summarize commentaries“.
The output and it's form of such a summary can be adjusted in the according menu window as well as various options regarding the chronological order and the sorting.
Export Comments to Data File
If it is desired, to export one or several commentaries from one PDF-file to an other or to use them again in the original PDF-file (to a later point of time, when it's elaborated and finished), the command „export comment in file“ allows to do so without any problems.
The comments out of the original file will always be exported and saved as a new data on your PC in the so called XFDF data format. Thereafter, there is the possibility to import those files into an other PDF-file or to recreate it within the original file, where it was originally exported from.
To save those commentaries as files of their own also comes in handy if it is intended to send only the commenting parts of a PDF-document via E-mail to an other user, who might need those commentaries for the same or a similar file.
Due to the fact that those commentary-files require just a little of disc space, they also can be saved on/downloaded to slower/older systems, which is especially an advantage when dealing with huge PDF-files.
Show Comments List
The commentary panel is displayed on the left side of the screen as soon as the according command is chosen.
As soon as there are commentaries made within a file, they are displayed in the panel along with the page number and the number of appearances on the according pages.
There it is possible to work on the commentaries quick and with ease. Even when working on bigger files. The user can recall all commentaries, include new commentaries, work commentaries over or simply delete them – all just with a few easy clicks.
