AVS displays a full range of partly cost-free programs for editing audio and video files. The AVS Video Converter is at the core of the manufacturer’s range.
The AVS Video Converter
The AVS Video Converter converts all types of video files, above all, new coding. Until now, only very few converters could work with HD-Video and Blu-ray. Oftentimes, it resulted with errors in the conversion or they didn’t even get to that point. With the AVS Video Converter, users are on the right page. For more information here is a list of all video formats.
The AVS Video Converter captures all potential files on the computer upon request. They can then be changed into different formats and/or enhanced with information like menus, subtitles etc. Finally, the finished product can be burned onto DVD and Blu-ray. Also, editing with effects, cutting and whatever else you may wish to do can be brought to realization using the AVS Converter.
It also allows other functions, so that the user can install playable files for other devices with the AVS Video Converter. Users who wish to upload their best videos to their iPhone, iPad, PSP or PS3 as well as devices with multimedia settings, can use this for such purpose. The AVS Converter provides the most common profile for mobile solutions.
Videos for the World Wide Web are an equally important division. This must make options very light and easily playable. Additionally, most CMS only recognize very few formats. The AVS converter helps to fine the correct profile, in order to upload the content to the appropriate website or social media network.
System Requirements for the AVS Video Converter
The AVS video converter works with relatively few system resources. It requires at least 1.5 Ghz and 512 MB of memory space. For playback of files in Mediaplayer, iTunes etc. the latest version should be installed. High-performance PCs with multi-core processors are equipped with the software so that an optimum work flow is ensured.
The languages offered by the AVS Video Converter are German, English, french, Italian, Spanish, Japanes, Korean Dutch and Polish. There is also voice technical support in these languages for the user.

The AVS Audio Converter
The AVS Audio Converter is the counterpart of the AVS Video Converter. With the AVS Audio Converter, it is now very easy to convert standard format and some specific profiles. A full listing of supported audio formats can be found here.
One particular feature is the the ability to extract sound excerpts from video. The Audio converter recognises common video formats and seperates the picture from the sound. Ideal for an exciting musical recording or an important speech, to be further used as a ring tone or something of that nature. The iPhone already comes with the M4R-Format for conversion. For professionals, there is still the option of converting in the M4B-Format. The sound excerpts can be then divideded into chapters and bookmarked.
All audiofiles can be tweaked before or after the conversion. Thanks to the editor, the compilation of more files or addition of effects is not a problem. Also, for the AVS Audio Converter there is the same technical support and assistance as for the above-mentioned product. The system requirements are the same as well.

Further AVS Video Tools
Alongisde of these two basic programs, AVS offers yet another additional program for specific needs. We simply want to use this opportunity to introduce them, in order to not go beyond the scope of this description.
The AVS Video ReMaker
Videos can be processed in less time without further encoding. The AVS Video ReMaker supports a lot of formats and converts them in such a way that they can be burned onto a DVD or Blu-ray disk. It also makes it possible to copy files onto a PC by connecting external devices like a camcorder etc.
The AVS Video Recorder
Should something not function with your product or in case you run into problems with the transmission, the AVS Video Recorder will help further. Its purpose is solely to copy the video captures from old and new devices onto your PC and make them playable. With it you can also try to bring old VHS tapes into the digital era.
The AVS DVD Copy
This software helps to craete an exact copy of a DVD. By using this, all of the information, together with DVD menus, can be brought over to the new copy, or just the video itself if desired. The intelligent program automatically chooses the best takes and the adjusts the whole DVD accordingly.
Further AVS Audio Tools
Comparable software for audio-notes and their arrangement is also available from AVS. That is why we simply want to go up to this point with our description and not divulge anything further. However, we would like to introduce the AVS Ringtone Maker.

For creative buffs, we recommend composing from a range of different sources, in order to make unique ringtones. Ready made effects provide even more variety.

German software manufacturer MAGIX AG has produced the Magix Music Maker series of digital music editors and sequencers since 1994. Currently in its 17th year of production — dubbed “MX,” which stands for “Media X-Change” – the Magix Music Maker Premium is a version of the software designed for mid-level producers: those who need a few more features without breaking the bank.
Loaded with more than 5,500 sounds and loops and with a retail price of $100, the Magix Music Maker Premium has more than enough samples for producers or DJs to create their instrumentals. That’s about 2,000 more samples than the regular Magix Music Maker program, which costs $60. Also, the program provides 96 tracks for audio, MIDI and video recording, which is 32 tracks more than the basic version. Those who want virtually twice the amount of sounds and loops — albeit the same amount of tracks — are better off with the top-tier Music Maker MX Production Suite, although it is four times as expensive.
Officially known as “Magix Music Maker MX Premium,” the software program has the two-letter MX designation because of the ability of the user to upload songs made with it directly to social networks. This includes Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, as well as the online audio distribution platform SoundCloud. Magix Music Maker Premium also enables the ability to upload music to an iPhone or iPod using the MAGIX Online Album app.
The Magix Music Maker Premium supports the following digital audio file formats for import and export: MP3, Waveform Audio File Format (WAV), Windows Media Audio (WMA), OGG Vorbis and CD-A. Audio/video is represented as Windows Media Video (WMV), QuickTime, Audio Video Interleave (AVI) and MAGIX’s very own MXV. Photos can be imported and exported in the JPG or BMP format, and MIDI serves as the interface for users who wish to use the software with musical instruments like keyboards. However, the Magix Music Maker Premium does not support other popular digital file formats, such as Advanced Audio Coding (AAC), Audio Interchange File Format (AIFF) and Graphics Interchange Format (GIF).
System Requirement
The Magix Music Maker Premium is ideally made for installation on a PC running the 32- or 64-bit Microsoft Windows 7 operating system. However, customers not need the latest Windows OS on the market to use the software. The program is also compatible with Windows XP (32-bit) and Windows Vista (32- and 64-bit).
Minimum system requirements for the Magix Music Maker Premium are also relatively modest. The PC must have a microprocessor with at least 2 GHz of processing speed, a motherboard-integrated graphics card and sound card, 1 GB of RAM, 6 GB of hard disk memory and support for a screen resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels. The boxed version of the Magix Music Maker Premium requires a CD/DVD drive to install the program via optical disc.
However, for optimal performance of the Magix Music Maker Premium software, the computer must have up to 2 GB of RAM. Other PC options for optimization include a CD/DVD burner for burning music and video files from the program onto a disc, Windows Media Player for MP3 export, and video recording and output with a Windows or DirectShow-compatible TV or video/graphics card.
Conclusion
The Magix Music Maker Premium is not the most advanced digital audio workstation on the market. However, if you are a production beginner and want to turn it up a few notches, this is the ideal program for you. With its better-than-average features and reasonable PC compatibility, the Magix Music Maker Premium is primed for budding beatmakers willing to go to the next step while preparing themselves for the ultimate aural experience.
